everyone is self serving
These kinds of things should be more shocking, but people tend to forget that everyone is doing what they're doing because its self serving. to think that police officers are all these stand up guys who are sacrificing themselves for the greater safety. In many cases I'm sure that is true, but in many other cases I'm sure men become police officers with the idea of power in mind. This is not to say all cops are bad, by any means. This is just the thought that we need to keep in mind that they're not all perfect by any means either.
