Top 5 apps to watch TV free on Android Tablet and Android Pad

Android has come into our day-to-day lives so much that it has become almost inevitable for us to live without our Android devices, and this popularity coupled with the efficacy of 3G has led to the development of a number of apps catering to the TV buffs, enabling them to watch TV online. In today’s evaluative and comparative review, we will take a look at the top ten Android apps which will enable us to watch TV and movies online. Some of them even allow you to exclusively watch movies and shows that have been stored on your computer or transferred to your droid on its microSD card.

Not only does a smartphone let you watch video clips on the device and surf the web to access video-sharing sites such as YouTube, it also allows you stream TV shows and films to the device when you've got a Wi-Fi or 3G connection, thanks to a number of apps. And you don't need to fork out lots of cash to watch TV and movies on your Android device. There are plenty of free apps available that offer this functionality. Here's five free apps that let you watch movies and TV shows on your Google Android device.

1.BBC iPlayer
The BBC's dedicated iPlayer app for Android devices not only lets users watch live broadcasts from BBC channels but it also lets you catch-up on TV broadcast over the last seven days. You can stream content over Wi-Fi and 3G and just like the desktop version, you even add shows to your Favourites so they're ready and waiting to be watched as soon as a new episode is available.
2.Sky Go
An iPhone version of this app has been available for some time and now Sky had confirmed it will be made available for some Google Android devices this month. Sky Go lets Sky subscribers access live broadcasts from all five Sky Sports channels, ESPN, Sky New, Sky 1, Sky Living, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts and 11 Sky Movies channels from their device.
3.ITV Player
Catch-up on shows broadcast on ITV channels using your Android smartphone. There's unlimited viewing with the ITV Player app but you'll need a Wi-Fi connection to watch programmes.
4.Crackle – Movies & TV
Crackle specialises in offering movies that you can watch over Wi-Fi and 3G on your smartphone for free.
5. Netflix
US movie streaming service Netflix launched in the UK at the start of this year, and this app allows you to stream movies to your Android smartphone . While the service isn't free, Netflix is currently offering a free one month trial via Facebook that can be cancelled before you're charged.

Lily introduced a simple way to watch DVB-T digital TV on your Android tablet and Android Pad, TV Tuner for Android Tablet/Pad connects DVB-T TV signals and streams of live TV wirelessly to mobile devices in Android OS. Live DVB-T TV can be watched on Android Tablet/Pad.
