Please Help
My niece has been living with me for the last month because she accussed her mom's boyfriend of doing sexual things with her over the last 4/5 years. She is 14. The boyfriend took a lie detecter test and failed it. Well last night I had to take her to the police station for her statement to the police and when we were done they wanted to talk to me and said that the big problem is when they checked her at the hospital, her hymen was still in tact. The district attorney said they might need a confession from him because that shows that she never had sex before. And he is denieing that anything happened.
My question is, Is it possible that her hymen could still be intact after haveing sexual intercourse?

possible
Hey,
Yes it's possible. Some hymens can be very elastic and fold down during intercourse rather than break and possibly survive up to several sexual encounters (intercourse) without breaking. Or there is the chance that she was sexually abused but no penetration occured. But it is possible for the hymen to not break until after the second/third time having intercourse.
